A new concrete driveway in Lincoln

LME Building Contractors is carrying out a concrete driveway installation at a residential property in Lincoln. The progress photographs follow the work from reinforcement and the concrete pour through to the textured surface and edging.

Preparation and reinforcement

The earlier photographs show timber formwork defining the driveway sections, with steel reinforcement mesh laid over sheeting before the concrete was placed. This view records part of the construction that is hidden once the surface is laid.

Laying and finishing the concrete

The concrete has been placed in defined sections around the front of the property. A brushed texture is visible across the main surface, with smoother finished edges giving each section a neat outline.

Edging and the current stage

Dark block edging is being fitted around the concrete sections. The latest supplied view still shows materials on site and unfinished areas around the entrance and margins. The project remains in progress, with final photographs to follow once the remaining work is finished.

Driveway edge finishing

The September progress update shows tarmac being laid along the outside of the dark block edging. The main driveway remains concrete; this photograph records the adjacent finishing work. The project remains listed as in progress.
